Frequently Asked Dental Questions
Pursuing the dental care you need to smile brighter can feel like a big undertaking sometimes. Even if you’ve already reviewed the information of our website, you may still have questions for the Beautiful You Dental team – and that’s perfectly fine! We hope you’ll find the answer you’re looking for here on our frequently asked questions page, and if you don’t, please don’t hesitate to contact us right away. We are always happy to give you the information you need to help you make well-informed decisions for your oral health and happiness.
How often should I bring my family to Beautiful You Dental?
We recommend patients visit two times each year. This is usually the optimal amount of visits to ensure patients maintain their healthiest smiles. During the regular dental checkups, we’ll examine the smile carefully screening for warning signs of common oral health conditions, provide a professional cleaning, and create a personalized treatment plan to ensure your smile stays beautiful for life.
What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is used to repair damaged, decayed, or root canal treated teeth. It fits over the top of the remaining dental structure concealing and correcting damage and protecting the remaining healthy tooth structure.
How are fixed bridges placed?
Fixed bridges are tooth replacement prosthetics that can be placed in two ways. We can fuse a replacement tooth or row of teeth to two dental crowns, one on each end, which is then fused with the surrounding healthy teeth. We can also attach fixed bridges to dental implant posts.
What should I do, if I have a broken partial or full denture?
Call us right away. We may be able to partially or completely repair your existing dental prosthetic in the dental office, so you won’t be without it. Additionally, we’ll design your replacement partial or denture right away, so you can have a flawlessly functioning smile again fast.
Does technology impact my dental care?
Absolutely! Most of the patients we treat can’t imagine using the same phone they had last year let alone last decade, but many dental offices are still using old-fashioned technologies. We use all the latest dental technologies and techniques that allow us to provide safe, effective, efficient dentistry services.
Are children welcome in your dental office?
We are happy to provide dental care for patients of all ages. In rare cases, we’ll need to partner with a local pediatric dentist to ensure children who show warning signs of dental development concerns are able to thrive. Otherwise, we’re happy to provide children’s dentistry services in our Palm Bay dental office.
Do you take my insurance?
We are happy to process and file dental insurance claims for most major PPO providers, and we are in-network practitioners for many of the major benefit plans in the area. If you have questions about your specific coverage, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our knowledgeable team members.
